Is this really a flattering picture of Natalie Maines (Center) lead singer of the Dixie Chicks? I think not, yet it is the published picture that is going along with the news that Rock Band will now be offering country songs on its game.I think she looks like she's been beaten or something...just my thought. I'm not terribly fond of her after the whole Toby Keith and President Bush fiasco!

I wasn't fond of them before the Bush thing, and even less so now....
They look angry. Why such heavy hearts I wonder? :-)
I think one's opinion of them would influence their interpretation of the photo, if you dislike the Dixie Chicks you might see them as angry and beaten. If you love them, you might see them as beautiful, strong, mature mothers, who happen to be incredibly talented. :)
