Please Vote!

In no way do I consider myself political. Half the time I don't understand the issues and don't know what it is going on. I am not completely ignorant, and do do minimal research on issues and candidates; however, a lot of it just goes over my head.

However, what I do know is that I am a RESPONSIBLE citizen and take my freedom to vote very seriously. We live in a country that we are allowed to be a part of the democratic system....please don't tell me our system sucks and that our voice isn't really heard....we still live in a country where the voting system is much more open to citizens than anywhere else.

I find it hard to believe that people don't care about who is going to be elected President tomorrow! Every time we have a presidential election it changes the way we see our nation and the people running it. I'm not here to tell you who to vote for...although I do believe that each candidate has pros and cons that enable them to be President. I personally vote based on issues as well my BIBLICAL beliefs. So for me, the main issue is that Obama believes in partial abortion and McCain does not...so McCain is getting my vote.

Again, I'm not here to tell you who to VOTE for...I'm just here to tell you:

GET OUT AND VOTE TOMORROW!!!

And don't complain about who is president on Wednesday if you didn't vote on Tuesday!

Thank you so very much for blogging about my contest! I am so excited about the Wicked give away...I hope that the rest of the weeks of prizes don't suck in comparison :-)

And for voting - it is so very exciting to see such turn out for the polls. I took my mom to vote about two weeks ago...and because she went through the handicapped line we were in and out in about 10 minutes. I have a feeling that my husband is not going to be so fortunate come tomorrow morning!

Yep, already did it. I don't understand when people won't even vote. I don't know anybody who hasn't complained about taxes, the bailout, Social Security, traffic laws...
