Raleigh, NC

So my best friend Susana moved from Georgia to Fayetteville, NC a few years ago (has it really been that long already? Sheesh, where does the time go!) and I really want to take a trip out there to visit her and more importantly order a Mocha Raquel from her new coffee shop. But alas, to go anywhere takes money, of which I have some but not quite enough at this time (or time for that matter), BUT there is a fantastic contest for people to enter and win a trip to Raleigh, NC (yes, in my mind Raleigh equates Fayetteville!). Hello, a FREE Raleigh Getaway...how cool would that be!?! Anyways....I've have always heard great things about North Carolina...the beauty of the state, the food you can eat (oh, good ol' Southern Style cookin'), and the sites and sounds of entertainment. I'm sure visiting Raleigh in the fall would be an amazing sight to see. Winning this fall getaway will entail the winner to the following:

  • One night accommodations for two at the Courtyard by Marriott Raleigh Crabtree Valley
  • $25 gift certificate to Bloomsbury Bistro
  • Free VIP admission for two to Rum Runners
  • 2 tickets to the North Carolina Theatre
  • 2 tickets to the N.C. Museum of Art’s Landscapes from the Age of Impressionism
  • 2 tickets to Dinosaurs: Ancient Fossils, New Discoveries at the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences
Mamma Mia! I would definitely enjoy a trip to the theatre and I'm sure Susana would appreciate a stroll through the art museum....plus lunch for two at a quaint little Bistro...um, yum! Have I told you how delicious food cooked in the South is? Out of this world!!
Really what do you have to lose by going and checking out the contest and seeing all that Raleigh has to offer....hmm, let me see...you could lose the opportunity to see theatre, the arts, eat good food, checking out the fall scenery, the Raleigh nightlife, and new discoveries that you would never have found before. So, in actuality you could be missing out if you don't check it out!

I guess I have never embraced the Fayetteville experiance. I went back in Jan. but it was for an unexpected funeral and other than that it has always just been family visits. Huh, who knew NC had soo much going on :O) I totally love your header...help me with one!!!!
