Yeltsin Dies

Boris Yeltsin, former president of the Soviet Union, died today at age 76. This isn't normally something that I would blog about, but Yeltsin was definitely an interesting figure within the history of the Soviet Union. He saw the demise of the Soviet Union, and embraced democracy yet he wasn't a very hands on president. He blamed the issues plaguing his country on those who were beneath him. Never taking credit for those problems himself, or as a political force. I'm not the most familiar with his reign but I do know that he was definitely an interesting figure in our current world events. Will he be missed? I'm not quite sure!
