Digital Cameras

I love owning my digital camera, although I have been very lax lately in taking pictures. I still own my old 35 mm camera (she is too good to just throw away); however, I broke down and bought a digital in June. I love it! I bought a Nikon Coolpix L10--it's a great beginning digital camera (let's be honest, it was very inexpensive). However, now that I have mine and have played with a few other digital cameras I would definitely go for a newer camera with better features. For instance, I would like a great zoom feature, better options for taking pictures in motion, at night, etc and a camera that is better at taking close-up pictures of smaller items (including writing on objects)...I don't know if this is due to the pixels or what. I primarily use mine to take pictures of people and places I see so that I can scrapbook them at some point in my life....I also like, no love, the instant gratification of seeing the picture right away...that way I know if the shot came out like I wanted or not! When I am ready for a new camera, I think I'll head over to Ritz Cameras and check out their digital cameras as well as their digital photo frames. Let me know what type of camera you think is best.
